The Lacombe Bantam Raiders welcomes youth 13-14 years old (born in 2012, or 2013; can't be in grade 10) interested in learning and developing their football skills. 

Regular Season

Practices will start August 12, and run every Tues-Wed-Thurs-Fri at MEGlobal Athletic Park (Lacombe) from 6 pm to 8 pm. 

Games are typically on Saturdays with the occasional Sunday game. Travel within central Alberta is required for regular season, Championship, and Provincial games. 

Game Format

These kids play full field, real deal football with timed games, score keepers, sideline sticks, flags, and referees. They get a chance to play in Championships and Provincials! The Bantam program is a steppingstone into high school football. 

Season Fee Information

• $65 Football Alberta Membership (includes insurance), due upon RAMP registration by credit card

• $125 Equipment Fee, due before equipment handout by cash or e-transfer only

• $360 Registration Fee, due before first practice, payable by credit card online, e-transfer or cash

• $200 Volunteer Deposit (refundable), due before first practice by cash or e-transfer only

Subsidies are available for qualified families through KidSportand Jumpstart

Equipment 

Equipment handout will be August 11 @ 6:00 pm.

Equipment fees must be paid prior to receiving equipment. 

Each player is required to provide their own cleats and mouth guard. All other necessary equipment will be provided. 

Communication

Important updates are posted on both the Lacombe Minor Football website and our Facebook page.

During the season, Team Managers and Coaches will communicate with their teams through the Team RAMP app, which will be provided at the start of season Parent Meeting.
