PeeWee Explosion

The Lacombe Explosion is for youth ages 11-12 interested in learning and developing their football skills.

Spring Camp

A great opportunity for returning players to brush off their cleats and get back into the sport they love, or for new players to come give football a chance. Practices will run Mon-Wed-Fri (6 - 8 pm) from May 4 to Jun 5, wrapping up with a Jamboree in Ponoka on Sat, Jun 6. 

Equipment handout for spring camp will be on Wed, Apr 29 from 7 to 8 pm. Parents need to bring their $125 Equipment Fee as well as a $100 non-refundable deposit towards their season Registration Fees (if they are not already paid in full). 

All players must be registered in RAMP in order to attend Spring Camp.

Regular Season

Practices will start the middle of August and run every Mon-Wed-Fri at MEGlobal Athletic Park (Lacombe) from 6 - 8 pm. 

Games are typically on Saturdays with the occasional Sunday game. Travel within central Alberta is required for regular season, Championship, and Provincial games. 

Game Format

These kids play full field, real deal football with timed games, score keepers, side line sticks, flags, and referees. They get a chance to play in Championships and even go to Provincials!

Season Fees

• $65 Football Alberta Membership (includes insurance), due upon registration

• $125 Equipment Fee, due before equipment handout

• $310 Registration Fee, due before first practice

• $200 Volunteer Deposit (Refundable), due before first practice

Subsidies are available for qualifying families through KidSport and Jumpstart

Equipment 

Equipment fees must be paid prior to receiving equipment. 

Each player is required to provide their own cleats and mouth guard. All other necessary equipment will be provided.

During the season, Team Managers and Coaches will communicate with their teams through a designated app, which will be provided at the start of season Parent Meeting.
